Hong Kong International

Saw some of the new territories coming into land.

Big cloud over some buildings just before touch down didn't look good.

The airport is clean and everything is super efficient. Signage is in English as well so no problems passing immigration and collecting my bag.

What is unusual is quite a few people with surgical masks on indoors. Over the public address system are public health warnings of the latest respiratory disease. I brought with me the most horrendous chest cough. Stood waiting for my case with people edging away from me.

Taxi from the airport had a ton of lucky charms hanging all over it. Given it was a good 20 years old I figured we might need them all.

They drive on the correct side of the road here and all the road signs are they same as the uk. No surprise being an ex-English colony I suppose. They also have the three pin plug!

We drove past the biggest container port I have ever seen. Easily bigger than the whole of Liverpool.

Though the rush hour traffic in one of the most densely populated cities in the world without hearing a single horn or emergency vehicle.

The first hotel.
