Last morning by the pool and taxi to the airport. Sitting upstairs for a change.

Let's grab a bit of lunch before we head for the airport.... We won't be able to move or need feeding in the plane!

Last night

Our last night and we head out to the mgm with a stop at the hard rock on the way. Few different bars and a few drinks along the way back to the hotel.

The Monte Carlo are rebuilding the whole South side of there building to make the most of the Park / Boulevard that popped up next to NYNY. 

Also 'The Pub' a the back is closing soon. Links the casino to the pool area. 

Good location, well worth considering a stay. 

Finally that crappy Rain Forrest cafe in the MGM has closed. Moved to in front of the PH.

Downtown- The Strip

Always interesting walking downtown as its full of weird people and therefore brilliant for people watching.  Honestly what people get 'tipped' for is just strange... Nuns with their boobs out, disable people performing tricks, old men dressed as babies...and really fat Americans... So what do we do, find a roof top bar and get a front row seat and watch it all happening in front of us....

For a change we got the bus to old town... Don't think we will be doing that again, once is def enough... He managed to get us upstairs at the front of the bus... Proper tourists... Wouldn't do a selfie though! 

Went past the building they have been putting up for the whole of the time we have been coming here... As well as all the wedding chapels

Always dubious walking off the main drag  in old town as its seedy and feels uncomfortable at times, he had a speak easy to go to and we went off strip to eat.  Actually really nice restaurant and some real ale pubs

The New Arena new to New York and 'The Park' has transformed the whole area wrapping around the front of NYNY. Nice pleasant walk loads of bars and music.
