Having a Day Off

After taking some criticism for asking asking 'what's da plan' I'm having Friday off. 

No plan from me, no decisions, no moaning. (I'll try my best)

Boozy crawl round Nice followed by a siesta. 

Then it's Indian night. Number 2 on trip advisor, (No 1 is a take away). Built in a tunnel with the help of LEDs for atmosphere. Once again the presentation is lost!

Citrus

Finally a steak. A nice one too! Citrus ranked number 4 and trip advisor, had to book in advance. Good shout.

Security

Obviously ramped up since the incident a few months ago. 

Traffic bollards everywhere, high vis armed patrols and load of police kicking about- again armed but just side arms. 

These guys aren't just for show taking selfies with the tourists and having a gab. Alert, and in patrol formation. 

Watching news of another bomb attack on the tube and a hammer attack in Lyon, both today, how long before we see on the streets of London.

Sir Philip's boat was in town! I'm sure we saw him getting the papers.

No matter how big you boat is, someone has a bigger one...

Drinks

First time we have been abroad and had to get hot drinks to warm us up, obviously balanced by the beer! Pigeons are fearless! 

Monaco

After the last week of walking we decided to get the happy bus (tour) round Monaco. Compared with London or Barca, they don't have much to say. But it does the job. 

It's just not the same without the F1 circus in town. The cars are 'normal' (relatively) the harbour looks half empty and the amount of building going on.
