Shinks go home…

Sad day today esp for George as the Shinks head home a few days before us. A reasonable pick up time means we are down to all day goodbye and wish them a safe journey home. 

UPDATE:

They got caught up in the UK Air Traffic Control technical issue. Waited 5 hours on the tarmac before pushing back for the 3 and a bit hour flight.. 

To top it off the car battery was dead. Fingers crossed out journey is less eventful in a few days.

WiFi is intermittent around the hotel. Apparantly this is the best place to get it in our room.  Hidden behind the front door.

Jack and Martin had a go.  Frustrated all round - ‘how can people be so un co-ordinated’..

Viking Beach Bar

Martin and I felt it was our duty to help Mae transition into holiday clubbing and show her the ropes.. 

The infamous club in Sunny Beach is Viking (DVG) but they seemed to be struck on ID and we didn’t have any.. plus there is that old chestnut of ‘being busy’ and find out you are the only mug at 1am who has paid to get in. Been there before. 

So we found their sister beach bar which was free to get in, was busy and had half decent music.

We left agates a couple..  wandered around the strip and ended up back there for the rest of the night as it seemed best place to be! 

Oh and they had the snooker and Dutch qualifying on for the old folks..

Bar promoters still trying to get me into an exotic show while I’m holding hands with a seven year old.
