Bangkok

After Dubai it was back to Economy for me. I have to say it was disappointing. The shear number of people on these aircraft makes boarding a nightmare.

I was hemmed in my window seat by a French couple who could not speak a word of English. I wanted to amuse myself and get 'Wee Fee' into a sentance, which is French for wifi for the non fluent amongst you. It took them over an hour to fill the boarding card in with the help of a stewardess. Good luck to them on the ground!

Once again amazed at how many languages the crew claims to speak. Always announced by the captain (in English only) on Emirates flights. This time I counted 14. I was trying to spot the Swahili speaking steward.

Economy on the 777 is much better. Bigger higher res screens.  Plus on the A380 because of the curvature of the body there is a gap between the window seat and the fuselage which makes it hard to lean on the window and sleep.

When we arrived at Bangkok there was some confusion as to wether those going to Hong Kong should disembark. We stayed on and the cleaning crew hoovered around me as I watched my seventh film of the journey.
