Dispite bookng in advance, he seemed surprised to see us and obviously didn't have our car ready, or a car avalible for us.
Still pressed on with the 'where you guys from' and the 'Beatles hey' bollocks.
Another hour later of him trying to sell us an upgrade he couldn't supply, then panic phoning around to find a mustang which we had ordered we then got into arguing about him messing up the bill because he mixed up sterling with dollars. In the end he managed to get one from Avis which still needed to be prepped.
During the two hour budget experience we saw a lot of unhappy customers having a simaler experience. There is non of this British putting up with bad customer service over here. Quite right!
The woman who gave us the keys said 'a convertible huh? You guys enjoy the weather...' Not sure if we found the first American that does sarcasm or not.
