Drive down from Miami to the 1 again which would take us to keys west involves a toll road. Rather than toll booths it is a pay-by-plate or a sunshine state pass. The only price we saw was 77 cents, dunno if that was per mile, per sensor or what. I guess we will find out next week once budget charge us. I bet they do that with more efficiency than they sorted the car out.
Once we got past Key Largo it was one road, buildings either side sometimes water, sometimes bushes. Boat shops, bait shops, tat shops.
We made a couple of stops. Took 3 hours in all, with a few stops at a steady 55 mph.
This is seven mile bridge which takes you the last stretch to the group of keys with Key West.
