Negotiate the 12 lane roads and junctions to find a gas station before we drop the car off. It had some damage when we picked it up. This was noted by the guy in Orlando. I can feel a customer service battle coming up once we get home. Oh and there is the Toll-by-Plate...
Just as they close the door it starts to rain. They close the ramp during thunder storm so we have a small delay.
Wheels up as we head North over giving us a nice view of the bay and Miami beach.
Now we can relax. 5 hotels done. The liability of the car out off our hands. We know exactly what to expect from here on in, we have done it enough times!
Mind you Vegas is never the same. This time the WSOP is on so it could be busy. Certainly the poker will be as there are far more people in town to play. The cheapest NL tourney to win a braclet is $1000, I don't have a good record of getting far in tournaments in Vegas I can't see myself jumping into a £600 one. The WSOP also means town will be full of blokes. Great.
This is also the first time we have been in July. Normally we come in September when is it a little cooler. The last few days it has been pushing 40 degrees, which makes sitting by the pool like sticking your head in an oven. Any activity outside will be tough.
Just as we start to taxi I got the text off Eddie - sorted for entry into XS tonight. Great news.
