We flew I've the dam and saw the new road bridge bypass. Last time we went to the dam it was under construction and the two sides had just met in the middle.
Bit a a choppy landing but we touch down. As soon as we exit the air bridge you can hear the noise from the bank of fruit machines at the gate! Somethings never change..
Waiting in the packed baggage hall being bombarded with adverts for shows and hotel attractions on big high def screens.
Checked in at the Aria. Tried the old $20 in the passport trick and we are up on the 39th floor - 25 is the normal ceiling for standard bookings. Still a standard room, so we are still unsure if it was a waste of $20! We have a nice view, even if it is out the back and not down the strip.
Just had a quick look around the MGM, NYNY, Excalibur, Mandlay Bay and Luxor.
Couple of minor changes. New bars popped up where they Lions used to be, MGM poker room has moved.
Queue for 1-3 here in the Aria was 103 people. In the MGM it was only 2 people. Really odd. Even a queue for the 25-50 here in the Aria.
