Chaweng strip is mostly one way so sitting at any bar means you see the same faces car wise. Traffic is slow walking pace and a loop takes 10 min.

The local stadia hosts Thai boxing every night at 9pm and they have two pick up trucks with a massive PA blasting the Rocky theme tune on a loop.

Ice bar has a similar PA truck with 'ice ice baby' on a loop.

Few other out of town bars have a similar rig touting for business.

Every taxi beeps there horn to attract attention and everything else is on a moped. Didn't see the tactic work once.

During the day they transfer the PA rig onto a fishing boat and follow the coast. So you are lying by the pool and you hear Rocky in the distance..
