A dubious start as we lined up at the elephant rank to get on our taxi-sorry elephant. With a goofy grin off our driver off we went.
At this point Phil is clinging on for dear life and wanting to get off. Around the corner we get and off he jumps as our new driver gets on, and well attempts to steer us around as the the elephant ate her lunch.
Our guide took the phone and went snap happy but Phil will put these on later.
After a quick swop I was at the helm driving us around, seriously swooping seats on a moving elephant is not easy.
It was brilliant and so glad we did this and managed to actually sit on the elephant.
All Phil kept saying was, isn't she hairy!!
Once off it was time to feed them with the bananas and weird fruit, assisted by dino
All this poor local thing is an act. Business can't be bad for these guys. New Evoke in the car park all the way from Halewood - which he hid after I took the photie.
Elephants a big. Really big. You wouldn't want one chasing you about. I like the way they think about where to put each foot. Unlike horses who just stand in any foxhole or rock at the risk of throwing you off.
As usual loads of staff. They had a guy sweeping leaves in the car park of a rain forest. I kid you not.
They thought we were f*#king nuts feeding elephants with a glove puppet on. He even stopped brushing the leaves to watch me 'glove up' with Dino.
Elephant wasn't bothered. Banana is a banana.
