Touch down at Dubai without problems but the queue at immigration was massive. Took best part of an hour to reach the front of European one. India's didn't seem to move at all.
At first I thought like America we could learn from this and protect our boarders. But as we got near the front we could see they were understaffed. with only half the desks open.
Going though the process the just stamped the passport as normal.
With that done we headed outside to get a Taxi. Ignored Sadam in full dress uniform waving is towards his Isuzu and got a normal taxi with a meter.
Rank of pink women only taxies - Women are not allowed to share small spaces with men who are not their husbands.
First impressions are good. Clean place modern, lots of glass and stainless steel. 12 lane roads so steady progress. Nothing under 60 floors high.
