Sensory Overload

Wandering up Bourbon St, deafening noise from each side lots of bands playing rock/pop, or DJ. Smell of weed with a waft of bins. Lots of excitable American whooping and hollering. 

Oddly lots of people walking up and down, but the relatively few in the bars.

Lots of gentlemen’s clubs as well. 

The buildings are amazing lit up and decorated for Halloween. 

We ventured off strip to the bright lights of Louis Armstrong park, but no people dark alleyways just felt a bit unsafe. Another couple hooked up with us for safety in numbers, but they turned back. We took the pic a few blocks away and bailed.
