We are the youngest on this average 757 with ageing entertainment system. It would appear the captain took a break from his duties up front to help with the food.
As the restrictions for using electronic devices hasn't been relaxed yet in Europe I can't read my kindle on take off. But I can as we land. Same aircraft, different continent. It either interferes with aircrafts systems or doesn't (which I have always been sceptical about) Surely this should be on an individual aircraft basis?
Who thinks of these rules!?
