New York - from the sky

The Heli tour was amazing. One of the best things ever. Partly because I was in the front, and I love helicopters. Oh and someone said it we flew along the Hudson.

Pier six the heliport:

Waiting for permission to take off:

Alex our pilot:

World Trade One and the financial district:

George Washington bridge to New Jersey.

South down the Hudson, Bronx on the left and Harlem river.

The aircraft carrier USS Intrepid or 'that boat' (Alison) - and if you zoom in, Concord parked on the same pier!

Downtown:

(The Tiny)Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island:

It was amazing. Highly recommended.

I don't think we would get anything from a ferry tour around the peninsula and up the Hudson which means we have freed up an afternoon.
