Didn’t bother with the parks and headed in a cab at dusk for food wander around shops and so see the legends light and fountain show (for free).
That was the plan..
Trafford Centre on steroids was my initial impression with as Tony put it a Disney castle from Temu.
Shops sold real brands, unlike every other shop in the country and despite’up to 70%’ sales prices higher than the Trafford Centre. As you can imagine they were dead inside. Everyone like us was here for the free show.
The only shop that was banging was Candy Land.. sweet shop with a DJ. Evidently a successful combination.
