Palms

We had to see the fruits of the recent 790m refit at Palms. She wasn’t keen after blaming them for a bout of food poisoning that lasted 3 days when we last stayed.

The place was dead. Just a few people milling around. The old Moon club and playboy lounge space are closed. What used to be Ghost Bar was only open ‘if it was busy enough’. 

The saving grace is Kaos club, in the old space that Rain occupied but now opens onto the newly designed pool area. Advertising all over Vegas, massive names playing there. Omnia challenger?

This art installation - whatever  it is meant to be, cost 14m. 

Most striking feature of the refit is turning one of the towers into HD advertising.
