Then got a call that Marks family, Pauline and Kevin were heading up to old town for the afternoon.
Jumped in a cab and joined them in the Golden Nugget playing slots. We wandered around saw Slotzilla playing slots before having a go on routte.
We all went for a meal in a posh steak restaurant upstairs in the D casino. Great food. The waters dressed in tuxedos speaking with dubious French accents meant we felt a bit out of place in shorts and trainers.
Outside the restaurant was a retro slots section. All old machines which accept and pay coins with that destinctive noise.
They even had a dokey derby. Only in old town!
The keno room was popular for some reason.
Carried on wandering. Played some $5 three card.
